PLAYER REGISTRATION RULES
- **Player Categorization:**
Players will be classified into three distinct categories:
- Icon Players
- Home Players
- Away Players
- a) **Icon Player Definition:**
Icon Players are assigned to each HPLT20 team by the HPLT20 team pre- Team Ownership Auction
Icon Players are chosen based on the owner’s discretion, representing the team’s best talent.
- b) **Home Player Definition:**
Home Players are participants who are residents of Henrico and enter the auction for team selection.
- c) **Away Player Definition:**
TeamPlayers are participants who are not residents of Henrico and enter the auction for team selection.
- **Specialization Declaration:**
During the registration process, players are required to specify their skillset specialization
(e.g., Opening batsman, Middle-order batsman, Wicketkeeper, Spin bowler, Fast bowler, etc.).
- **Availability Declaration:**
During the registration process, players are required to specify their availability for Saturday and Sunday between May 2024 and Aug 2024, barring injury and illness.
- **Player Registration Fee:**
There is a non-refundable player registration fee of $100.
- **Team Member Kit Provision:**
All registered players will receive a complimentary HPLT20 Kit.
All drafted players from the Player auction will receive their team uniform kit, all the players that unfortunately do not make the cut through the draft will receive HPLT20 cheering Kit.
- **Team Affiliation:**
Players have to commit to participate only for the team they are drafted to during the auction.

- **Residency Requirement:**
To register as an HPLT20 player, individuals must be residing in the State of Virginia.
8**Registration Period:**
Player registration will be open from February 17, 2024, to March 14, 2024.
